During this presentation, Nat Jones, RPh, FAPC will provide an overview of the types of pain, the role of inflammation in pain, and physiology of pain receptors. He will discuss transdermal compounding for pain management, various active ingredients used in permeation-enhancing bases, as well as the role of neuropathic pain medications. Finally, he will discuss ketamine and low-dose naltrexone as options of key ingredients in pain management compounding.
